PRAYER OF LETTING GO
To You do I belong, O God,
into Your hands I surrender my life.
Pour out Your Spirit upon me
that I may love You perfectly,
and serve You faithfully
until my soul rests in You.
Hello and welcome. Every sunrise is a quiet reminder that God has given the world another beginning. Whether you watched it peak over the horizon or only caught its light much later, that gift was still waiting for you. I just love that about God. He is always offering us another chance to notice Him, another opportunity to begin again in His presence. So before we move any farther into this day, wherever it finds you, let's pause for a few moments, quiet our hearts, and let Him meet us here. Let us pray. In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
SPEAKER_04Amen.
SPEAKER_03O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall declare your praise.
SPEAKER_04And renew the face of the earth.
SPEAKER_03Bless the Lord of my soul. Oh Lord, my God, you are great indeed. If you take away the breast, the return to the dust. When you send forth your spirit, they are created and you renew the face of the send us to see. I will be glad in the Lord.
SPEAKER_01His mercies never come to an end. They renew every morning. The Lord is my portions as my soul. Therefore, I will hope in him. The word of the Lord.
SPEAKER_00The temple built to honor God would be turned to dust.
SPEAKER_01The Ark of the Covenant would disappear.
SPEAKER_00And it got even worse. Can you imagine living through such a thing? And yet we see someone in the midst of all that pain with unleashing faith, you know. Reflecting on those tragic events in the face of those people causes me to question my own dedication to God. And I often think about that phrase we use in disastrous times. All we can do is pray. And to be honest, I only feel worse in the long run because I fail. But here at the God Minute, we pray as a family. The songs we share lead to a togetherness factor that makes us feel part of something so much bigger than ourselves. And this helps us return our prayers toward those who are suffering tragic situations such as war and destruction throughout the world.
SPEAKER_01For those people who hope machine.
SPEAKER_00For the little boys and girls of their time on earth. And their faith would eventually help fulfill the divinity covenant and deliver the world a Messiah King. And we see those words. Therefore, I will hope in him. They were speaking about a heavenly God as their inheritance, not land or property. And that inheritance has passed down to us because of their prayers. And here we are, thousands of years later, praying our psalms while lifting our prayers to the Messiah King. To bring peace and harmony and hope to the children of the world today. Because his love never ceases, his mercies never come to an end, and our hope continues to rest in him.
SPEAKER_02With great hope we pray. On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Let us pray. Faithful God, your mercy greets the world again and again, as constant as the rising sun. When our hearts grow weary, let hope rise within us, for you are never absent. Bless those who are carrying burdens too heavy to bear alone, and let your quiet faithfulness become the light that guides them forward. May the trust we place in you today become a gift to those who come after us, just as the faith of generations before us has become a blessing to us. Keep us rooted in the promise that your love never fails, and teach us to trust you even while we wait. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. And together to you do I belong, O God. Into your hands I surrender my life. Pour out your Spirit upon me that I may love you perfectly and serve you faithfully until my soul rests in you. Thanks for praying with us today. I hope you found a little peace in these moments we've shared together. Whatever the rest of the day holds, know that God goes with you. And may God bless us in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
SPEAKER_04Amen.
SPEAKER_02Have a wonderful day and remember to look for Christ in the small things. Until we pray again tomorrow.
